Okocha has the same quality as Messi, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, according to an ex-Arsenal and Real Madrid star.
Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor insists that former Super Eagles captain Austin Jay-Jay Okocha is on the same level as Messi, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
Messi and Ronaldo are arguably the greatest players to play the game while Ronaldinho is one of the most gifted players to play football.
Ex-Arsenal star Adebayor puts Okocha on Messi, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho's level
Messi and Ronaldo dominated football for over a decade with 12 Ballon d’Or titles between them, while Ronaldinho was the best player in the world in the mid-2000s.
However, while the three players were the best players in the world in their prime, the same cannot be said about Okocha, who despite his talent, didn’t win a lot of individual awards or team trophies.
Still, Adebayor believes the former Super Eagles captain is in the same league as Messi, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
Adebayor said this at a football match organised to celebrate Okocha’s birthday in Lagos, Nigeria.
