The remarkable moment of the game was the Araujo attempted to chest the ball but instead caught the ball with both hands.
The Uruguayan on the right side received a chipped pass that was overhit early in the second half.
To the surprise of his teammates, he leapt up and caught the ball as it appeared to be going over his head.
As soon as Araujo realised what he had done, he quickly displayed a look of shame and put his palm on his head before jogging back into position.
Araujo escaped without being booked, despite the protest from Getafe players, with the referee awarding a free-kick.
