A Nigerian international has spoken on the online rant made by Victor Osimhen towards former Super Eagles coach Finidi George.
Osimhen recently had an issue with former Super Eagles head coach Finidi following his omission from the team during the World Cup qualifiers.
Ahead of Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against the Benin Republic and South Africa, the Galatasaray star was deemed unfit for both games.
It was then reported that Finidi stated he wouldn't ask anyone to play for Nigeria, raising doubts about Osimhen's dedication to the squad.

Ujah speaks on Osimhen’s rant
Anthony Ujah has weighed in on the matter, pointing out that Osimhen's disrespect for Finidi resulted in humiliation on the internet.
The 33-year-old said in an interview with Brila, “One thing in football is that if players don’t respect the coach, it becomes difficult.
“Unfortunately for Finidi, that’s what happened. Whatever happened between him and Osimhen wouldn’t have happened with Eguavoen because they all respect him,”
Ujah claimed that under Eguavoen's leadership, the scenario would not have happened due to the respect he has for the coach.
Meanwhile, Finidi has said he never received an apology from the Galatasaray striker after he resigned from the Super Eagles.
Osimhen, on the other hand, returned to the Nigerian team and scored a goal in Nigeria's 3-0 victory over Gernot Rohr's Benin Republic.
