Bukayo Saka revealed Arsenal players were hurt when they lost the Premier League battle to Man City but the believes these crop of players will do better next season.
The Premier League title has been won and lost but one thing is for sure that Arsenal will never forget how close they came in landing their first league trophy in 19 years.
One of the Gunners’ star performers of the season Bukayo Saka recalls how the team felt when they saw the title slip off their hands in the last few games of the campaign.

Saka on how players reacted to losing the title to City
Speaking on the matter to Arsenal legend Ian Wright, Saka said:
“It really hurts so much to even think about how we’ve ended this season and what could have been.
“But one thing I can say is, like you said, since the last two or three years that I’ve been playing, I’ve seen this team and the club grow.
“Time is on our side. You can look at our team and a lot of the players are young. We’re hungry, and a lot of us haven’t won trophies at Arsenal so we want to achieve big things.”
Saka’s incredible season
The 21-year-old recently signed a new deal that would keep him at the Emirates until the summer of 2027, making him the highest paid player at the club.
The England international found the back of the net 13 times in the Premier League this season and also hit double figures in terms of assists.
