Osimhen started in attack for Galatasaray but was unable to get his name on the scoresheet despite his team scoring two goals.
The Turkish champions were wasteful in the game and had many chances to defeat the visitors by a large goal margin.

Osimhen reacts to penalty claim
After the match, Osimhen spoke about his penalty incident and felt that the referee ought to have pointed to the spot when he was knocked down by Claro's challenge.
According to reports from Haber Sari Kirmizi, Osimhen said, "Of course, it was a penalty."
According to numerous Turkish press sites, referee Oguzhan Çakir made several contentious calls during the game, including one that denied Osimhen a penalty.
In the 21st minute of the match, Lucas Claro knocked down Super Eagles striker Osimhen in the penalty area.
The Galatasaray players protested that a spot kick should be awarded, but Çakir disregarded their request.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray still leads the rankings with 35 points, six points ahead of Fenerbahçe and Samsunspor, despite dropping two points in the match.
