Thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC and left-back Brian Majwega have parted ways after a two-year marriage.
The left-back, who can also comfortably play as a left winger has confirmed the developments in an emotional farewell.
"The mighty KCCA FC, the best team have ever loved playing for and royal (for loyal ) too," Majwega penned via his social media platforms on Thursday.
"(I) can't forget every moment have had with you ma teammates. Love you all," he summed.
It should be noted that the versatile player signed a three-year contract in 2021 after leaving URA FC, but has only spent two seasons, in what was also his third coming.
He leaves after making 45 league appearances over the last two campaigns, including 20 in the preceding season.
His return wasn't as fruitful as anticipated, and he was part of the trophy drought at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
Besides KCCA and URA, Majwega has also previously featured for Maroons FC and Azam FC in neighboring Tanzania.
Meanwhile, KCCA under new tactician, Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil, is undergoing a squad cleanup as they look at a possible renaissance.
