Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly decided to cut ties with Raphael Varane at the end of the season.
Manchester United have reportedly decided not to extend the contract of seasoned defender Raphael Varane for another year.
This decision makes the French defender free to negotiate and sign a pre-contract agreement with a club outside the Premier League starting from January 1.
Varane on way out of Manchester United
This season has been challenging for Manchester United, with several key players failing to meet expectations, sparking discussions about their future.
Among them is Varane, whose performance in the first half of the season has been disappointing.
Varane had initially signed a three-year deal with an option for an additional year with Manchester United.
According to the Daily Mail, the club has chosen not to exercise that option, allowing him to depart as a free agent at the end of the season.
