However, the 25-year-old’s future with Napoli remains a subject of debate. Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 from Lille for a club-record fee of €75.00m but has been linked with a move away from the club in the last few years.
The Nigeria international was linked with a move away from Naples in the summer after leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Osimhen was on the radar of Europe’s top clubs after finishing top of Serie A’s scorers’ chart last season with 26 league goals.
However, the Nigerian star stayed at the club before extending his deal by a year. But the former Lille man has now hinted the extension means nothing as he has already made his plans for this summer.
Osimhen puts Chelsea and Arsenal on alert
Speaking in an interview with CBS, via Fabrizio Romano, he is ready to take the next step and would announce at the end of the season.
“I have already made my decision on the next step to do at the end of the season”. I already made up my mind. I already have my plan, I know what I want to do, the next step I want to take”, Osimhen told CBS, per, Fabrizio Romano.
Although he did not explicitly state his next step, Osimhen hinted that the next step could be a move to the Premier League.
“I think 60% of the people mention the rumours about me linked with the Premier League”. Premier League is one of the biggest leagues in the world”.
“I want to finish the season with Napoli strong and then come up with the decision I've already made”, he added.
