Jinja Hippos quartet of Tawfik Bagalana, David Wako, Yusuf Waiswa and Makita Dembele will be part of the African Scorpions RFC that will play Bryncethin RFC from Wales in a friendly on Thursday in Zanzibar.
The four are joined by Nile Special Rugby Premiership top try scorer Pius Ogen from Kobs and Ivan Kirabo from Rhinos in the team.
Jinja Hippos coach Saidi Atibu coaches the team.
“As a club that promotes talent and fosters growth, we know that this is a significant opportunity for our players to showcase their skills and represent Uganda as a whole,” Hippos said in a statement.
