Jinja North United finished in the 10th position last season but has done a major facelift and overhaul as they seek to grab one of the three slots this time.

betPawa FUFA Big League side Jinja North United has roped in in three new signings in time for their opener against Booma FC in Masindi on Thursday.

The Jinja side finished in the 10th position last season but has done a major facelift and overhaul as they seek to grab one of the three slots this time.

On top of signing coach Sadiq Ssempijja, the club has gone on to lure a number of former topflight players into their rank.

On Wednesday, the club raided Police FC and signed midfielder Benaldo Kateregga.

The team has also added Brian Mayanja Muruuli from Tanzania Premier League side Mtibwa Sugar.

Coach Ssempijja has also made a last-minute addition of his former Mbarara City left-back Hakim Magombe.

The defender has previously featured for Bul and Onduparaka in a Uganda Premier League career that has lasted almost a decade.

The other new faces include Bronson Nsubuga, midfielder Amos Etoju, Umar Lutalo and goalkeeper Mugolofa Mutwalibu,
