Paris Saint Germain are reportedly no longer eager to bring Victor Osimhen to the Parc des Princes
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly no longer keen on a chase of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen despite the departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.
Les Parisiens had been touted as one of the teams interested in a move for the Napoli forward this summer, but the French side have now cooled their interest in the Super Eagles star.
PSG not keen on Osimhen
According to reports from L’Equipe, PSG have not made any advancements in talks for a possible summer move for Osimhen, suggesting that the French side no longer consider Osimhen as a viable target for a summer transfer.
This would come as great news for Premier League runners-up Arsenal, who have emerged as the number one candidate to sign the Nigerian striker in a potential €120 million move from Napoli.
PSG look to other targets to replace Mbappe
Although PSG are still in the market for a replacement for Real Madrid-bound Mbappe, they will consider other wide targets as opposed to Osimhen, choosing to put their faith in centre-forwards, Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos, who joined them last summer.
The Paris-based side will now consider moves for another Napoli talisman, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, as well as AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, to add bite to their attack ahead of next season.
