Mexico have scheduled two key friendlies in the Dominican Republic as they prepare for the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

Mexico will sharpen up for their 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup with a contest against Nigeria tonight as they ramp up their preparations for the global showcase.

The El Tri arrived in the Dominican Republic on Thursday where they will play two crucial friendly matches against Nigeria on October 7 and New Zealand on October 10.

These fixtures come as vital tune-ups for the Mexican side ahead of the upcoming tournament, set to kick off on October 16.

Coached by Jimena Rojas, Mexico will be looking to fine-tune their squad before making their Group C debut on October 17 when they will face North Korea.

Following that, Mexico will face England on October 20 before taking on Kenya in their final group match on October 23.

For the Junior Starlets of Kenya, who are set to make history with their first-ever appearance in a FIFA World Cup at any level, the match against Mexico will be a key challenge.
