Klopp returns to football with Red Bull
"After almost 25 years on the sideline, I could not be more excited to get involved in a project like this.
"The role may have changed but my passion for football and the people who make the game what it is has not."
As global head, Klopp aims to develop and support Red Bull's extensive football talent.
"By joining Red Bull at a global level, I want to develop, improve and support the incredible football talent that we have at our disposal.
"There are many ways that we can do this - from using the elite knowledge and experience that Red Bull possesses to learning from other sports and other industries."
Red Bull owns several top-tier clubs, including RB Leipzig in Germany's Bundesliga, RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga, and New York Red Bulls in MLS.
Klopp joined Liverpool in 2015 and led them to their first league title in 30 years, the Champions League title in 2019, the FA Cup in 2022, and two Carabao Cup trophies.
