Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is delighted with his side's recent winning run and sees it as something to build upon next season.
Liverpool defeated Fulham 1-0 at Anfield to earn a fifth consecutive Premier League win which now puts them just four points away from a Champions League place.
Liverpool's Klopp delighted with winning streak
Mohamed Salah scored a penalty in the 39th minute to secure the win for Liverpool. It was the Egyptian's 18th league goal this season, and his manager was pleased after the match that his team has been able to put together a winning streak.
Klopp said: “We still have things that we need to improve but if five wins in a row was easy, everyone would be doing it.
“We have to try do something that will bring us higher in the table and something that we can build on next season.
“That is exactly what we are doing at the moment and I am really pleased with that.”

Liverpool are next in action against Brentford at Anfield on Saturday and despite being just 4 points behind Manchester United in 5th, the Red Devils have two games in hand on Klopp’s men and remain in the driving seat for Champions League football next season.
