The Cityzens dominated the first few minutes of the game with some intricate passings but draw specialists Juventus did grow into the match and Yildiz almost put the Old Ladies in front in the 20 minutes but his long-range effort was just inches wide of the far post.
However, from there on, Manchester City looked the most likely to score.
