Serie A giants Juventus are planning to make a move for on-loan Manchester United midfielder in the summer, as they look to strengthen their midfield depth.
Sofyan Amrabat is on a season-loan at United from Fiorentina, but it is looking increasingly unlikely that he will remain with the Premier League club on the back of his performances this season.
However, a new report suggests he could return to Serie A next season, but this time to the Italian giants, Juventus.
Juventus want to sign midfielders in the summer
According to reports, the Old Lady are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer and have been linked with multiple names, such as Teun Koopmeiners and Lewis Ferguson. However, Amrabat is also a name on their radar, as reported by Italian outift Calciomercato.
Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Guintoli, greatly admires the Moroccan midfielder and has assessed how to set up the negotiation with Fiorentina, with an initial loan deal being proposed.
Amrabat could extend deal with Fiorentina
According to reports, the midfielder could have to extend his deal at Fiorentina for the deal to materialize since his current contract runs out in the summer of 2025.
However, the other option could be a swap deal involving Brazilian midfielder Arthur, but his salary could be an issue for Fiorentina.
Amrabat is likely to be open to this move if both clubs can reach an agreement.
