London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea are believed to have signed two of the worst buys of the league season so far.
Former Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, who joined the Gunners at the end of last season for £65m, is considered the worst piece of transfer business.
Premier League clubs splashed out a record-shattering £2.4 billion over the summer to bolster their squad to challenge for honours on all fronts this season.

London Club Chelsea were the biggest spenders during the window, dolling out £428.8m on new additions like Christopher Nkunku, Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, and Romeo Lavia - taking their total expenditure under American Todd Boehly to over £1 billion.
Despite these new additions, Mauricio Pochettino and his Chelsea side have endured a torrid start to the season, winning only against newcomers Luton while losing to West Ham and Nottingham Forest.
Worst Premier League signings revealed
Prominent football transfer agents, according to the Athletic/via the DailyMail, have named the Premier League players they consider flops and do not merit the huge fee paid to secure their services.
Six transfer agents voted Kai Havertz's move from Chelsea to Arsenal as the worst transfer. The German who scored the winning goal in the 2021 UCL final has suffered a lack of confidence and his quality on the field of play has dropped drastically.
Despite failing to impress, coach Mikel Arteta has continued to back the former Bayer Leverkusen man and given him a starting position in all four Premier League games the Gunners have played this season.

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit slams Caicedo and Lavia for rejecting Liverpool for Chelsea.
In second place in the worst transfer is Chelsea’s new British record signing Moises Caicedo, who joined the Blues for £115m from Brighton.
The Ecuadorian defensive midfielder has not hit the ground running since joining Mauricio Pochettino’s side. He gave away a penalty in his debut, and his loose pass in the game against Nottingham Forest led to Chelsea conceding a goal.
Next on the list of worst signings is Manchester United’s English midfielder Mason Mount, who joined the Red Devils in a £60m deal from Chelsea.
Proving doubters wrongs
While some fans might argue that it's too early to judge these new signings, others might feel the ratings is justified because many of them have not covered themselves in glory since making the summer move.
There is also a possibility that this might spur the players to prove the transfer gurus wrong. Luka Modric was one such player who proved everyone wrong when he swapped White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu in 2012 for a £30 million fee.
Luka Modric was voted the worst signing in his first season at Real Madrid. However, the Croatian midfield maestro picked himself up and became a fan favourite with his displays.
He went on to win La Liga, the UEFA Champions League (four times in a row), and played at the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and ended up winning the Ballon d'Or in the same year.
