The 13-time league champions are level on points with rivals Vipers and SC Villa as they all head into the penultimate games of the season.
KCCA FC make the short trip to Jinja to face Busoga United away on Tuesday, and the Lord Mayor of Kampala, Erias Lukwago, issued a public plea specifically to the club captain Benjamin Ochan, urging them to win the league.
"To our players, Benjamin Ochan and your team, I don't want to say Mia Mia (head coach Jackson Mayanja), but the captain and the team, we are expecting nothing short of victory," Lukwago noted in a video shared by the club.
"We want a trophy as an anniversary gift; play your hearts out; these remaining two matches, I am sure, they are a do-or-die."
"Don't kill the spirit; please don't break our hearts; I am asking you honestly, kindly and humbly. We want his victory so that we celebrate this milestone of 60 years in a massive style," Lukwago added.
The Kasasiro boys have blown hot and cold this season, first with Morley Byekwaso, who resigned after his side lost 1-0 to Soltilo Bright Stars and were eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter-finals.
