CECAFA Kampala Queens absent as Khalifa names Uganda U18 team for CECAFA

The provisional squad comprising 35 players is dominated by Kawempe Muslim and players who represented the country in the World Cup U-17 qualifiers last year.

Coach Ayub Khalifa has assumed national duty immediately by naming the Uganda National team that will play at the CECAFA U-18 tournament in two weeks’ time.

The team will enter the residential camp at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Monday ahead of the tournament that takes place from June 24th to July 8th in Nairobi, Kenya.

None of the players from the FUFA Women’s Super League champions Kampala Queens met the requirements.

Eight who won the FUFA Women’s Cup with Uganda Martyrs have been summoned.
