The two come in to take over from Hamza Lutalo who won the FUFA Women Super League with the club in the preceding 2022/23 campaign.

While sources that preferred anonymity, but close to Mawejje have affirmed to the developments, efforts by this website to reach him for confirmation were futile, as calls went unresponded to.

Meanwhile, Ssenyondo joins in from Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC after he reportedly chose against renewing his contract, having helped them secure survival.

While Mawejje is fresh in the business, Ssenyondo on the other hand, holds significant experience having been there for some years now.

The latter has previously coached at Synergy FC, Mbarara City FC and Uganda's U-17 Boys national team, the Cubs.

Following the end of the season, Kampala Queens went separate ways with Lutalo, his deputy Kato Alimiya Ssenyange and goalkeepers coach Solomon Mboowa.
