Rife reports in Dar-es-Salaam had indicated that Karisa had penned a pre-contract with Simba, a development he has refuted.
Milton Karisa’s calm demeanour has always been likeable by many. Little wonder he is the team captain at Vipers SC.
Karisa, who has played a pivotal role for the Venoms this season, scoring four league goals, says it’s been a tough season, but captaining the Vemons in their debut CAF Champions League campaign is one of the best moments in his career.
“It’s been a tough season with ups and downs, but I am positive we can still turn it around with the remaining games, that’s for sure,” Kariisa told Pulse Sports.
“I am grateful to God for the opportunity to captain Vipers in the group stages of the CAF Champions League; for me, it is a chance that comes once in 1000 years.”
Rife reports in Dar-es-Salaam had indicated that Karisa had penned a pre-contract with Simba, a development he has refuted.
“I haven’t signed any pre-contract with Simba, I have a running contract with Vipers, and I am not allowed to negotiate with any other club at the moment.”
Vipers became the second Ugandan club to play in the group stages of the CAF Champions League group after KCCA FC.
They finished bottom of Group C with two points and one goal, all achieved at home.

SUPL Karisa back to lead Vipers' revival charge
Uganda Premier League defending champions Vipers SC have missed captain Milton Karisa in the past four games in all competitions, and his absence has visibly been felt.
Kariisa was also humbled by the recent acknowledgement as the 2022 Nile Special / USPA Male Footballer of the year 2022.
“Very few take time to appreciate the efforts one puts in, so it gives me the morale to keep working harder.”
Karisa will be expected to help Vipers pick up maximum points away to Maroons FC on Wednesday having recoverd from a hamstring injury.
