The crucial win lifts Ndejje to 9th from the relegation zone as Kataka relaces them in the red with only 21.

Nicholas Luzige scored a hattrick as Ndejje University edged Kataka in another thrilling encounter at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.

Ndejje won the first-round fixture between the two sides in a seven-goal thriller and served yet another one with Luzige scoring at the death.

The captain opened his count shortly after the half-hour mark firing in from close range but Aguocha Odong equalised with seconds to end the first half.

Luzige restored the lead 12 minutes into the second stanza but Tiff Kahandi restored parity three minutes later.

Kataka played with caution to pick at least a point but Luzige was determined to go home with the match ball as he netted the winner in the first minute of added time.

“We’re happy to be playing at home because when we hosted games at Bombo, it was like we were away,” the hattrick hero said after the match.

The crucial win lifts Ndejje to 9th from the relegation zone as Kataka relaces them in the red with only 20.
