The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association ball games II concluded on Monday 17th in Kabale.
Kawempe Muslim emerged as the champions of the USSSA Ball Games II 2023 Football Championship in both the U14 and U16 girls’ tournaments that climaxed in Kabale on Monday.
The Kawempe side beat Boni Concili 2-1 in the U16 final to complete a double in the two categories.
They had earlier defeated 2-1 through Shadia Nabirye’s double in the U14 category.
The win meant that they will represent the country in the CECAFA qualifiers of the 2023 CAF African School Football Championship.
