The KCB coach has details what they must put in place to ensure consistency after missing glorious opportunities in their recent matches

KCB coach Elvis ‘Valdo’ Ayany has revealed what his charges will work on in order to win their remaining league games of the season on a consistent basis.

The bankers were held to a 0-0 draw by Posta Rangers in a match that saw them create a flurry of chances, but ones that they failed to convert which ended up making them regret terribly.

In the first half, they hit the post three times, and had several other clear-cut opportunities, with Francis Kahiro having the biggest chances of them all to score a hat-trick against the league leaders, but he fluffed his lines and in the end, both sides had to share the spoils.

Speaking after the match, Ayany expressed concern about his side’ profligacy in the match, which made them drop points.

“We will work on our finishing because it is evident that our inability to convert chances is wanting,” he said.

Ayany has hailed his charges for creating several chances, but believes they must be more effective at taking them if they are to stand any chance whatsoever of winning games consistently.

“If we can find a way to be more effective in front of goal, I think we will be in a good place," he added.

“It is good that we are creating a lot of chances but the final touch to put the ball into the back of the net is wanting on our part.

“When we work on it, we will get good results.”

KCB sit sixth in the league on 16 ponts, five behind league leaders Posta Rangers. They have scored 12 goals so far this season, making them the joint-fourth most prolific side in the league.

They have, however, conceded eight goals this season, giving them a goal difference of four.
