Through its parent body, Kampala Capital City Authority, the club has invited bidders to pitch their proposals for the next significant phase.
This directive is in line with the open domestic bidding method, strictly abiding by Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (revised in March 2014).
KCCA FC's criteria for the right contractor is precise, as any prospective bidders will have to hold experience under contracts in the role of contractor, subcontractor, or management contractor within the last three years.
Also, such contractors are expected to have handled open public access projects such as markets, stadia, shopping malls and multi-level office buildings.
Moreover, the bidders are required to showcase a substantial track record, having managed at least four projects in recent years, similar to open public access projects with each valued at a minimum of UGX 4.5 billion.
Financial stability is another non-negotiable with a liquidity of five billion shillings or its equivalent.
