Okello and Paradou have since agreed to have his contract terminated, and his next move remains a big topic of discussion in Ugandan football circles.

The relationship between KCCA FC and Allan Okello is that of a father and son.

The playmaker came through the ranks at Lugogo before becoming a hit in Ugandan football and eventually taking the next step in his career to play professional football at Algeria’s Paradou.

Okello and Paradou have since agreed to have his contract terminated, and his next move remains a big topic of discussion in Ugandan football circles.

And having spent last season on loan at KCCA FC, managing five goals and eight assists as the Kasasiro Boys finished second in the Startimes Uganda Premier League, it is no surprise that the club would not mind squeezing more juice out of the sleeky playmaker.

Club CEO Anisha Muhoozi might have provided a hint while appearing on NBS Sport Tuesday night.

She said: “We can’t deny the relationship between Allan Okello and KCCAFC, he is a darling of the club.”

Following Okello’s announcement that his contract with Paradou had been terminated, the conversation about his next move will dominate headlines until the end of the transfer window.

League champions Vipers SC are also said to be interested in the player’s services.

At the moment, KCCA’s entire focus is on the CAF Confederations Cup Preliminary clash with Libya’s Abu Salim and the start of the domestic season under new head coach Sergio Traguil.

It remains to be seen what jersey Okello ends up donning in the coming season.
