It is easier to associate the two with foul language than anything else in football circles and that is what the club is taking action for.
KCCA FC has set the pace on many fronts in Ugandan football the last few years. And one of those areas is fans’ mobilisation.
And there is a full executive that acts as a go-between for the fans and the club. Part of its mandate is to ensure that the numbers grow but also preach discipline amongst the fans.
Where there is any sort of indiscipline, the executive takes the lead in identifying, advising or even isolating those whose behaviour puts the club name or the game of football into disrepute.
And following continued cases of indiscipline of two KCCA FC renown fans, the club and the Fans’ executive have cracked the whip to curb the vice of foul language from the stands before, during and after matches.
Jalia Namuswe and Amina Kikomeko are the two fans whose luck has ran out. Their gross indiscipline through use of foul language is something neither the football club nor the fans’ executive want associate with.

In a statement released by the Uganda Premier League table leaders on Friday, Namuswe was slapped with a two-year ban from all KCCA home games.
“KCCA FC in conjunction with the KCCA FC Fans Executive have taken note of unsportsmalike behaviour that has a section of fans repeatedly using foul/vulgar language during matches,” the statement read.
“M/S. Jalia Namuwe is henceforth banned from all KCCA FC home games for a period of two (2) years. The culprit who did not show up for the hearing is also a repeated having served a one-year ban in 2020 for a similar offence.”
First time offender Kikomeko receives a much lighter punishment, banned for the next three home games but with a suspended one-year ban should she commit the same crime.
M/S. Amina Kikomeko is banned for the next three (3) KCCA FC home games (Arua Hill SC, Maroons and UPDF) as she is a first time offender and was remorseful during the hearing. A suspended one year ban has however been handed to Amina should she commit the offense again.”
“For any away games that the above mentioned two (2) fans attend during their ban, they are not allowed to associate with KCCA FC fans.”
The duo’s last game was at the Wakisha Grounds when KCCA defeated Wakiso Giants 1-0 in their second round opener.
