FOOTBALL Champions Vipers among 15 clubs fined over licensing noncompliance
Vipers will represent Uganda in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League, and have duly complied with the licensing requirements for the competition. KCCA who will play in the Confederations Cup have also fulfilled CAF's requirements.
Fifty-Four clubs from 42-member associations are participating in this year's edition of the CAF Champions League, while 52 clubs from 41-member associations will compete in the Confederation Cup.
"The preliminary stages draw will be conducted on Tuesday 25th July 2023 at 14h00 Cairo time at the CAF Headquarters starting with the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup followed closely by the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League," part of the statement read.
