Iguma was fined UGX 500,000 by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel for comments made on his social media handle and was required to clear this before playing any further part in the league.
KCCA FC defender-cum-midfielder Denis Iguma has promised fans that the club will fight to win the Startimes Uganda Premier League this season.
The player was speaking after fans collected money to pay the fine imposed on him by FUFA on Thursday.
"I take this opportunity to thank all KCCA fans, thank you for the love you show the team," Iguma said in an audio message to the fans.
"For the love you have shown me but mostly the love for the team, I'm sure you did this because you love the team," he added.

"Thank you for contributing to ensure that I pay the fine. I will urge my fellow players to keep fighting until the last game."

"We must ensure that no other team but KCCA wins the trophy. We need the trophy."
"Right now, I'm speechless. I didn't want to say anything regarding the federation. I'm not focusing on that," Iguma added.
Iguma posted on his Twitter handle: Feel great (great) to play for the best team in Uganda. Strong team with grate (great) players. No bribing. No betting but real football."
The comments came two days after KCCA lost 1-0 to Vipers, and the FUFA Disciplinary Panel swung into action to slap the player with the fine.

FUFA has banned Jackson mayanja for his post-match comments against FIFA Referee Mashoud Ssali after KCCA's loss to Vipers.
The KCCA fans are aware of how important each and every player will be in the last four games of the season as the team wrestles against table leaders Villa and second-placed Vipers for the title.
The team is already without striker Tshisungu Kankonde and interim coach Jackson Mayanja. The two were suspended for six and two matches, respectively.
The Kasasiro Boys still have to face Express, Busoga United, Bright Stars and BUL to end the season.
With money for the fine not an issue anymore, Iguma will be ready to play KCCA's next game against Express on Saturday.
KCCA has faltered in the last two matches, letting a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Onduparaka and falling 1-0 to Vipers.
