In a bid to bolster their midfield, thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC are set to unveil Kajjansi United midfielder Joel Sserunjogi.
At 22, Sserunjogi is viewed as one of the most promising midfield prospects in the local football circles.
He has spent the past weeks with the Kasasiro Boys on trials, and has apparently impressed head coach Sergio Traguil.
And, according to Nalubaale Sports, the club has agreed terms with the player, who is set to sign a four-year contract at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
Sserunjogi is a former Buganda Masaza Cup star with Busiro, which he helped triumph in 2022 as they edged Buddu 2-1 in the final.
He is a product of St Julian School, Katera High School, Kajjansi United Junior team and URA FC Junior team.
Upon his unveiling, he will become Traguil's fourth signing after Carlos Da Silva, Vinicius Silva and Joao Gabriel Estevez Cardoso.
He will be expected to vie for a starting berth with the likes of Moses Waiswa, Ashraf Mugume, Saidi Mayanja among others.
