His first goal in his second KCCA stint was scored against his former club Onduparaka, and he waited until they faced Arua Hill for his second and third.

KCCA FC striker Muhammad Shaban was fascinated with his brilliance against Arua Hill SC in the Uganda Premier League at Lugogo on Friday, and he hopes he can keep going.

A former player at Onduparaka FC, Shaban knows how impactful his display against the Leopards was on the day.

West Nile side Arua Hill are Onduparaka's city rivals, and the latter is Shaban's boyhood club. He bagged a brace as the Kasasiro Boys edged the Kongolo 3-2.

"I am grateful for the performance individually and for the entire team," Shaban told Pulse Sports in the game's aftermath.

"This was a difficult game, but in the end, we managed to win, and the victory tastes a bit different given the kind of opponents I have scored twice against."

"We shall continue pushing towards our target of winning the league, and I hope to score more goals."

He added: "I also want to keep getting the goals, it is the reason I am here, and I want to play my part with goals in helping the team achieve its targets at the end of the season."

Shaban has scored three goals for KCCA since his return to Lugogo, and they have all been against the West Nile rivals.
