New British Prime Minister told to deport Premier League star.

Newly-elected British prime minister Keir Starmer has been discovered to be an Arsenal fan from old tweets of his, prompting fans to make strange requests of him.

Starmer, 61, has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 2015 and has led the Labour Party since 2020. Yesterday, he beat former prime minister Rishi Sunak at the polls to assume the position.

Through old tweets, it was discovered that the new British prime minister is an avid supporter of North London side Arsenal.

Pictures of him at the Emirates and a video of him with Arsenal Fans TV, in which he spoke glowingly of Mikel Arteta and Martin Odegaard, are also making the rounds.

Hence, a football fan, seemingly of Arsenal inclination, implored him to deport Pep Guardiola from England to end his association with Manchester City, and consequently his stranglehold on the Premier League

Guardiola's dominance and Arsenal rivalry

Pep Guardiola has been the most dominant league manager in the last two decades, and he has 12 league titles to show for it, six of which have come in the Premier League, managing Manchester City.

Of his eight years in England, he has only failed to win the league twice: his debut season and the COVID-19-disrupted campaign in which Liverpool ran away with the trophy.

Last season, he completed an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title, becoming only the second English team to win a treble.

Arsenal have been on the up-and-up in the past two seasons and have dominated the rest of the division, but for one club, City. They have come second in consecutive seasons, finishing behind the Cityzens in both instances. Many believe Guardiola's exit would usher in a new era, one which Arsenal will lead.
