Khalifa is confident that the remaining players will deliver the job.
“We’ve had good preparations so far as we test the fitness of the players, and I know we shall have a good team at the end,” Khalifa said.
“We’re going to miss a few players who requested to focus on their forthcoming exams. We love the football, but we have to look at their future. We’re moving with the players we have in camp, and I’m very optimistic that the girls in camp will win the game,” he expressed his optimism.
The winner of the tie will play the winner in the fixture between Burundi and Ethiopia for a slot at the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
