Simon Tamale emerged as the best player of the month, surpassing competitors Milton Karisa from Vipers and Paul Mucureezi from Kitara.

Five exceptional athletes were recognized and honored at the Fortebet Real Stars Awards for May, which took place at Lazio restaurant.

Simon Tamale emerged as the best player of the month, surpassing competitors Milton Karisa from Vipers and Paul Mucureezi from Kitara.

Tamale, the goalkeeper for Maroons, showcased an impressive record by keeping four clean-sheets in five games. His contributions helped Maroons finish the season in sixth place with 41 points.

Rose Amaniyo was crowned the best basketball player of the month, primarily due to her MVP performance with St Mary's SS Kitende at the USSSA games.

Amaniyo outshone Peter Cheng from Nam Blazers and Diana Letaru from KIU Rangers. She has also been a standout player in the National Basketball League (NBL) while representing KIU.

The title of best Rugby player was awarded to Ivan Magomu, who played a pivotal role in helping Pirates secure their second-ever League title by defeating KOBs in a title decider at Legends.

Magomu, who maintained a perfect 100% kicking record on that day, edged out his Pirates teammates Moses Zziwa and Ivan Kabagambe for the accolade.

Yassin Nasser and his Co-driver Ali Katumba were recognized as the best Rally crew, surpassing Duncan Mubiru/Joseph Bongole and Byron Rugomoka/Hakim Mawanda.

Nasser's notable achievements included finishing third at the Pearl of Africa Rally in the ARC category, as well as winning the Iringa Rally in Tanzania.

The award for the best Netball player went to Gloria Aya, a talented youngster who played a vital role in NIC's successful defense of the East Africa Netball championship in Kenya.

Aya's exceptional performance earned her the title of best player at the tournament. Additionally, she guided St. Noa to victory at the USSSA games.

Aya triumphed over Stella Nanfuka from Prisons and Rachael Nanyonga from NIC in the competitive category.
