Upon return of the NPFL, Nasarawa United would head to Ikenne to take on 5th-place Remo Stars at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Ahead of the second phase of the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Nasarawa United winger King Osanga has stated that the Solid Miners are working hard behind the scenes, to turn around their fortunes this season.
Prior to the mid-season break, Nasarawa United suffered a torrid start, losing six, winning two and drawing, scoring only 8 goals in nine matches, while conceding 13.

Nasarawa United working hard - Osanga
Osanga, who featured in five out of the nine games for the Solid Miners and scored two goals, in an interview during the season's break, stated that the team are working hard to have a better season, upon the league's return.
"We are battle ready for the second half of the league, even though our start to the season wasn't good enough," the winger said to the club's media department.
"We are bringing our heads together for the survival of the team. Hopefully, we are up and ready for the second stanza.
"We work as a collective team. No tree can form a forest. I will always do my best by bringing my wealth of experience to take the team out of the position we ended in the first stanza.
"We don't deserve to be where we are in the league. You know the history of the Club, but we can finish among the best at the end of the season.
