How it happened
Udinese ran into an early lead when Roberto Pereyra moved sharper than Fikayo Tomori, beating him to the ball, and burying the ball in the far post.
Milan played their way into dominance but repeatedly ran into a white and black wall before they were handed a breakthrough when Jaka Bijoll was judged to have handled the ball in the box.
A penalty was awarded, and 41-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up to convert successfully after an initial attempt was saved but had to be retaken as Udinese players were found to have encroached.
The goal enters him into the history books as the oldest scorer in the competition's history.
The joy and merriment for Milan and for Ibra over the new record were short-lived however, as Isaac Success—who had a man-of-the-match performance—delivered a pinpoint cross for Beto, who finished at the near post.
Udinese capped off the scoring with a goal made in Nigeria when Tottenham loanee Destiny Udogie, of Nigerian descent, played the ball across goal to find Ehizubue, who redirected the ball towards goal.
Zlatan becomes oldest goalscorer in Serie A history
As we reported in detail here, Zlatan's goal from the spot makes him the oldest goalscorer in Serie A history at 41 years and 166 days old.
He surpassed Alessandro Costacurta, who was 41 years and 25 days old when he scored his last Serie A goal in May 2007.
