Okwalinga becomes the third signing after coach Ssenyondo brought in Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye and goalkeeper Crispus Kusiima.

Uganda Premier League side Kitara Football Club has unveiled Solomon Okwalinga as their third signing in the ongoing transfer window.

The club announced on Monday that they had acquired the services of the attacking midfielder for this season.

The 27-year-old joins the Royals after helping Mbarara City to earn promotion from the FUFA Big League last season.

“Solomon will be with us until 2024 and joins us from Mbarara City,” the club announced.

Okwalinga started his football journey at Synergy Sports Club in Masaka under the current Kitara coach Brian Ssenyondo in 2013.

He left after four years to move to Mbarara City for the 2017/18 season before crossing over to KCCA Fc.

He played for KCCA until the end of the 2018/19 season, then moved northwards to Ondupraka.

Okwalinga returned to Mbarara City again in 2020, where he has played since then.

The midfielder becomes the third signing after coach Ssenyondo brought in Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye and goalkeeper Crispus Kusiima.
