Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kitara Football Club have unveiled Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited (JCIL) as their new sponsor for the next two years.

Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kitara Football Club have unveiled Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited (JCIL) as their new sponsor for the next two years.

The deal with the Hoima-based outfit is worthy a huge and lucrative 200 million shillings.

JCIL has thus become Kitara's first Platinum partner, which is the highest among the sponsorship packages of the club.

“On behalf of Kitara Football Club, I would like to unveil our platinum sponsor, Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited, officially," revealed club president Deo Kasozi.

"They have given us 200 million shillings, and the deal will run for two years. Thank you for supporting Kitara and football altogether," Kasozi added.

The deal will see Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited have their name and branding on the club's kit.

“We are very glad to be part of the family of Kitara FC. We want to work together to see that our team succeeds. We have love for the people of Bunyoro and fans of Kitara FC,” stated JCIL President Jonard Asiimwe.

JCIL is the second company to partner with the club after Kinyara Sugar Limited, who came on board earlier in February.

Kitara continues to get ambitious on their return to the top flight, as they have made 14 new players with a new head coach, Brian Ssenyondo.

The Royals have signed the likes of Frank 'Zaga' Tumwesigye, Denis Omedi, Shafiq Magogo, Frank Yiga, Brian Aheebwa, Living Kabon, and a host more.

They will get off their 2023/24 Uganda premier league season with an away trip to the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, against SC Villa on September 15.
