“My aim is to work harder, win games with my team and also become the leading scorer in the league this season,” Omedi told the Kitara FC media in an interview.

The defender also came close to joining URA FC, but the move fell through, and that presented Bright Stars with the opportunity to pounce.
“I can’t wait to get started. Well, I know it won’t be that easy, but to be the best, you must test yourself with the best, and, I’m set,” he added.

Omedi signed a two-year contract with Kitara, after crossing from Masindi-based outfit Booma FC.

The FUFA competitions department confirmed that two games will be played on the same day, with the third-place playoff and the final being played at the MTN Omondi stadium, home to KCCA FC, on Sunday, September 3rd.
Brian Aheebwa, Livin Kabon, Shafique Magogo, Benjamin Nyakojo, Solomon Okwalinga, Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye and Jude Semugabi are some of Kitara’s top recruits ahead of the new season.
