Wakiso Giants Football Club defender Ronald Madoi has reportedly sealed a deal to join Italian outfit Suzzara Sport Club.

The Uganda U20 player and the Italian Sixth-tier outfit have reached an agreement for a deal, pending official announcement, according to Sports Nation.

Madoi is a product of Uganda Schools football giants, St Mary's Secondary School, Kitende, which he helped clinch the 2023 National Schools Football Championship, at the expense of St. Henry's Kitovu.

He has also been through the national team ranks including the U17 and U20, and was part of Uganda's team that won the 2017 U17 CECAFA Championship.

He also helped the Uganda U2O team clinch the 2022 CECAFA trophy in Sudan, as they qualified to the Egypt Africa Cup of Nations, before getting eliminated at the quarterfinal stage by Nigeria.

He has formerly featured for Wakiso Giants Junior Team and Divine Soccer Academy.

In the Italian lower divisions, he will link up with former Arua Hill SC forward Ronald Innocent Media and ex-SC Villa player Oscar Mawa.
