The former Liverpool manager could be set for a swift return to management
Former Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp could be offered a chance to return to football just months after officially ending his seven year spell with the Reds.
Klopp leaves Liverpool after seven years
The German football manager officially left Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season, his seventh with the Premier League giants.
Klopp announced mid season that he would be leaving his role as head coach following a trophy-laden reign that saw Liverpool lift all available trophies at least once, including ending the Reds’ 30-year wait for a Premier League title.
Klopp offered return to management
Following his departure from Liverpool, Klopp’s immediate future has been subject to speculation even though the former Borussia Dortmund manager revealed he would be taking a sabbatical from management.
Klopp’s resolve to stay out of football for a while will however be tested, as he has reportedly been the subject of a proposal from the United States of America national team, who want the German tactician to take over from departed head coach Gregg Berhalter.
Berhalter was fired after leading the disappointing 2024 Copa America campaign that saw the USA fail to leave the group stage after losses to Uruguay and Panama.
