The Flying Eagles will be up against Korea in the quarter finals at the FIFA U20 World Cup. The Nigerian U20 side defeated hosts Argentina in the last 16.

The Flying Eagles will on Sunday, June 4, 6:30pm Nigerian time take on the Korea Republic in their quarter final clash at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.

After a resounding 2-0 victory over the hosts at Estadio San Juan del Bicentenario the Nigerian side have arrived at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, venue of their game against Korea.

The Koreans got the better of Ecuador by 3-2 in the round of 16 clash after finishing second in Group F behind Gambia.

The Flying Eagles won their opening game 2-1 against the Dominican Republic then defeated Italy 2-0 to secure their place in the next round.

The last 16 clash against the Argentines brought out the best in Bosso’s men as two second half goals made the difference over a team tipped to win the tournament.

The winner of the Korea vs Nigeria game will face either Italy or Colombia will also do battlebattle for a place in the semi final.
