Kyambogo University have fallen victim to hooliganism in Ugandan football. The institution now faces a two-year suspension from the University Football League.
In a statement released by the UFL on Monday: "The UFL Disciplinary Committee has suspended Kyambogo University over incidents of fan hooliganism during their matches. Kyambogo is suspended for two seasons, this season and the next."
This season, Kyambogo were in Group C, alongside Makerere University, Ndejje University, and Muni University.
At the time of the suspension, Kyambogo had accumulated six points from three games, securing the second position.
