Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has signed a two-year contract extension with the club putting an end to all speculation regarding his future.
Walker was heavily linked with a move away from Manchester City throughout the summer window, with Bayern Munich waiting in the wings.
However, Pep Guardiola was able to convince him to commit his future to the club and sign an extension.
Walker pens new Man City contract
He said: “I’m thrilled to sign a new deal. My future is with Manchester City and that is the best thing for me.
“I’ve enjoyed every single moment of the past six years at this fantastic club.
I have an amazing coach, great teammates and staff, and our fans are the best. I feel supported on every single level.
“The treble-winning season is one I will never forget and we’re ready to go again and try to win more trophies"
