The newly elected Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, has declared its support for Lagos state-based club Madiba FC to pick the Nigeria Premier League Football League (NPFL) ticket.
The chairman, Fuad Oki, declared the support after the Oshodi Boys defeated Ebedie in their last home game 6-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
Oki urged Madiba to ensure they restore Nigeria's top flight league matches to the state.

He said that the Lagos State FA will support the boys to victory, promising that his vice, Mr. Lamidi Gafar will led the state delegation to Ekiti state.
He said, "Dont be afriad. You must bring the Premier ship to Lagos state. We will come with you and ensure nothing with official and nobody will rob us.
"You will go to Ekiti to know what you know how to do best and you must finish the winning streak that you have started in Ekiti." He said.
Madiba thrashes Ebedei 6-0
Earlier, Madiba had a picnic as they destroyed FC Ebedei, 6-0, to get back on the winning track after falling to Abeokuta Stormer, 3-1, on matchday six at Remo Stadium.
Madiba scored four goals in the first half, all coming from Solomon Aliu (who had a brace), Egbonwon Harrison, and Sunday Fadeyi.
While Shola Oladunjoye and Babatunde Shaibu added to the goals during the second half, bringing the total to six.
After beating FC Ebedei, the team moved up to second place in the standings with 14 points, trailing only Abeokuta Stormers, who have played all of their league games and currently lead the NNL Group B3 log with 17 points.
