LaLiga president Javier Tebas explains that his tweet in reply to Vinicius was not intended to be an attack.
LaLiga president Javier Tebas has apologised for his reply to Vinicius, which many perceived as an attack on a victim of racism.
The Brazil international was subjected to racial abuse in Real Madrid's 1-0 defeat to Valencia, and following the game, the player took to Twitter to accuse Spanish football of being racist.
The LaLiga president quoted the tweet, and in defence of the league, he stated that they were not racists and claimed that the Real Madrid star has failed to honour invitations by the association to explain the steps that they take to curb racism.
