Spain and Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal has continued to see his stock skyrocket, and he has now attained a new milestone.

FC Barcelona sensational youngster Lamine Yamal has made headlines, becoming the world’s most valuable teenager.

According to Transfermarket, Lamine Yamal is now worth an astonishing €150.00m (N274.05 billion). 

Lamine Yamal’s new market valuation is a staggering 500% increase from last year when the youngster was worth just €25.00m.

The Catalan teenager is now the most expensive Spanish player of all time, eclipsing Manchester City’s Rodri valued at €130.00m and Gavi, worth €90.00m. 

Furthermore, the recent market valuation reflects how Yamal’s stock has risen following his impressive performance for both club and country.

The Spanish FA has confirmed that Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal will wear the number 10 jersey for the national team. 

The 17-year-old was named the young player of the tournament as Spain went all the way to win EURO 2024, with Yamal becoming La Roja’s youngest goal scorer at the European Championships.

After an excellent 23/24 season where Yamal scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists in 37 games for Barcelona, the youngster has followed it up with another impressive return this campaign, bagging 4 goals and 5 assists in 9 starts

The Barcelona prodigy who turns 18 next year July already boast of a decent trophy cabinet, having won the European Champions and the Spanish La Liga. In addition, Lamine Yamal has also been nominated for the FIFA Ballon d’Or award.
