Super Eagles duo fire blanks as Nottingham Forest extend winless run vs Wolves
It was a no-show for Nigeria Super Eagles forwards Emmanuel Dennis, Taiwo Awoniyi, and their Nottingham Forest side after dropping more points at home to Wolves.
The visitors took the lead as early as the 12th minute via Orel Mangala but Leeds fought back to take all the points thanks to two goals from Jack Harrison and Luis Sinisterra.
Forest on free fall
Despite a bright start to the game, Forest let a 1-0 lead slip from them as Leeds registered a huge win in the relegation race.
Nigerian forward Dennis assisted Mangala for the opener, their fifth away goal of the season, but the Reds failed to hold on as the Lilly came back to complete their revenge.

In a blistering first-half at Elland Road, Leeds weathered the early storm to hit back in brilliant fashion with goals from Harrison and Sinisterra.

I worked as a bricklayer to buy boots - Super Eagles star reveals
Awoniyi was signed by Nottingham Forest last summer for what was a club record £17 million fee at the time.
Nigerian forwards Dennis, Awoniyi and their club have now gone eight matches without a win, leaving them just above the danger zone on goal difference.
With both teams battling relegation at this stage of the season, this fixture was one neither could afford to drop points.
The host dominated the encounter at the early stage but it was the visitors who took the lead when Dennis set up Mangala for the opener.
However, the goal seemed to bring out the best in the home side who did not take too long to find the equaliser as Harrison fired them level eight minutes later.
It was all Leeds thereafter and Javi Garcia’s men Peacocks, rejuvenated by the equaliser, pushed on for another goal which arrived just before the break.
Summer signing, Sinisterra decided to go on a solo run after he was picked out on the left and he drove past a sea of Nottingham defenders before letting fly past Navas from close range.
A fantastic and vital win for the Lily Whites who have now picked 10 points from a possible 18 since Garcia arrived at the club.
Up next for them, they welcome another relegation-threatened team in Crystal Palace to Elland Road and Garcia will want more of the same.
