With the last international break of the year done and dusted, Premier League football returns with Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca visiting his old stomping ground. Here are predictions, team news, betting tips, and possible line-ups for the game.

Leicester City are without a win in their last three games, the most recent of which was a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United just before the international break.

Currently in 15th place with 10 points, the Foxes are three points above the relegation zone and are the highest-ranking team among the promoted sides.

Chelsea are also without a win in their last two PL games, salvaging 1-1 draws against Manchester United and Arsenal.

However, the Blues sit pretty well in the table, currently in third place, tied on 19 points with three other teams: Arsenal, Brighton, and Nottingham Forest.

After a six-match run without defeat in this fixture between 2018 and 2021 (2W, 4D), Leicester have now lost four of their last five PL games against the Blues (1D, 4L).

Chelsea have enjoyed their recent trips to the King Power Stadium, losing just one of the last seven (4W, 2D), winning their last two visits there by a combined 6-1 score line.

However, the away side have won just one of their last seven games just after the international break (3D, 3L), a 1-0 win over Bournemouth earlier this season.

Jamie Vardy, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Patson Daka, and Jakub Stolarczyk are all potential returnees. However, Ricardo Pereira, Jordan Ayew, and Issahaku Fatawu are likely to remain sidelined.

Chelsea have received a significant boost ahead of their domestic return, as Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill, who withdrew from the England squad during the international break, have resumed training with the Blues.

Additionally, Jadon Sancho is also back in training after recovering from a recent illness.
