Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho has agreed to join Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on a season-long loan.
Leipzig have been engaged with Liverpool for several months over Carvalho, initially with the intention to sign the midfielder outright but the Reds have been firm in their decision not to sell.
Liverpool's Carvalho off to Leipzig on loan
According to the Athletic, Liverpool believe this move would be hugely beneficial for the 20-year-old's development as he is likely to struggle for game time at Anfield.
The deal is a simple loan with no buy option and Liverpool expect him to back with the team for the 2024-25 season.
Carvalho made 21 appearances for Liverpool in 2022-23 but he found his opportunities limited in the second half of the season.
